We are seeking a Financial/Business Controller to shape upcoming growth phase alongside the CEO. With a overall team of 20 you will play a pivotal role in driving and overseeing our growth while maturing its Business and Finance processes. Your responsibilities span the full financial spectrum – from ensuring seamless financial processes to becoming a trusted strategic advisor.
First and foremost, you need a profound understanding of business processes, key drivers, and underlying financial procedures. You will contribute to the strategic plan by providing support through scenarios, benchmark analyses, and business cases. Translating the strategic plan into a robust budget and an insightful management reporting framework that monitors key drivers is crucial. During periodic business reviews, you will offer insights into performance, variances, risks, and opportunities. You will also own the forecasting process and ensure accurate and timely accounting and reporting. Managing relationships with external accountants and tax authorities is part of your role.
You will have the chance to be involved in designing and launching the new skills assessment platform, a significant component of our growth strategy. You will directly influence revenue stream setup, interface with financial systems, and related management information.
The Financial/Business Controller you will report directly to the CFO and CEO. You are:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Economics
- Experience in business control within an entrepreneurial context, familiarity with analytical tools like PowerBI is a plus, hands-on experience in reporting and accounting is essential;
- Analytical mindset, driven to comprehend business dynamics and gather necessary information to enhance performance;
- Performance-oriented, with a focus on delivering tangible results (hands-on)
- Excellent English, capable of building bridges and fostering valuable relationships.
- You currently live in the Netherlands
Your offer:
- Offer you a salary up to 71k euro/year incl 8% contingent upon experience and interview performance
- Bonus of 2.4% bonus per month
- Working from home for now and go to the office after the Covid 1/2 days a week
