As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing applications, websites, and other web-based solutions. You will ensure that our website runs efficiently and effectively, leaving our customers satisfied. You will also work on optimizing and improving our smart online tools, which provide our customers with information on market figures and vehicle data.
Furthermore, you will be involved in building solutions that connect with partner systems through API integration. We hold regular brainstorming sessions to discuss our technical development standards, and we keep things straightforward and hassle-free, with no lengthy meetings or politics.
Our ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in PHP7, MySQL (or MariaDB), and object-oriented programming. You should also be familiar with CakePHP4 or other frameworks, as well as SOAP and REST APIs, CSS, JS, jQuery, HTML, and Bootstrap. We operate in an agile environment, so experience working within that framework is essential. You must also be an EU citizen or possess a permanent residence permit for the Netherlands.
