We are looking for an Automation Engineer
Are you a T-shaped engineer with a passion for automation, particularly in the Windows environment? Do you have the ability to think outside the box and find creative solutions to complex problems? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as an Automation Engineer!
As part of a self-managing team of about 8 direct colleagues, you will work on critical systems and platforms using the latest technologies. You will be responsible for supporting the customer's functional management team, ensuring the platform is secure, up-to-date, and available, and continuously looking for opportunities to improve.
Automation is a critical aspect of the role, and you will use your strong scripting skills to automate tasks wherever possible. You will also work with automation tooling such as Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform to automate applications in the existing customer landscape.
To be successful in this role, you should have experience with Windows/Microsoft OS, strong scripting skills (e.g. PowerShell, Ruby), and working knowledge of automation tooling like Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Jenkins, Bamboo, Docker, Kubernetes, etc. It's also essential to have experience with automation and DevOps, not just system engineering.
In addition to your technical skills, we're looking for someone who is interested in the customer's business and application landscape for which your team is responsible. You should be willing to work in a self-managing team environment and make logical and efficient decisions with your colleagues.
Your package will include a salary up to 85k incl 8% depending on your experience, a mobility plan, employee ownership plan, pension plan, disability insurance, group health insurance, a laptop/phone, and 25 vacation days. This role is only open to EU citizens, and you will work 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
