We are looking for a Sales Director SAAS in South Africa for our TECH company specialised in the Agri sector, digitising farmland to improve and increase production through Technology in combination with Machine learning and Artificial intelligence.

This opportunity is to get a foothold in (South) Africa and you will be the first hire in South Africa and in the future when you have established to hire and train BD teams.
Your responsibilities: 
Phase 1:
  • get a foothold South Africa Markets
  • define country-level penetration strategy for different product lines in order to ensure attainment of
    company’s sales targets
  • Co-ordinate with operations and product teams to track project progress and relay customer feedback /
    industry requirements
  • Build strategic partnerships that help with quicker market access and support with technical, project and marketing information
  • Make recommendations to Marketing and PR teams on how to tailor campaigns and content to capture
Phase 2:
  • Scale up existing customer base by cross-selling modules
  • Train business development teams on prospecting calls, product demonstrations, proposals and closes
Requirements:
  • “Can Do” mentality
  • Result and goal oriented
  • Proven experience in New business sales
  • 8+ years of B2B International/ SAAS Sales Experience
  • Native verbal and written communication skills in English and South African
  • International MBA (preferred) with International exposure
  • experience with Development agencies/ Donor Agencies (World Bank/UNO/UN) is preferred
  • South African National or no restrictions working in SA/Africa
Offered:
  • Basic Salary up to 90k USD 
  • Bonus up to 30-60k USD per year
