Magento Developer

We are recruiting for a well known and established Digital Agency who has worked with well known clients
such as Ziggo, National Opera & Ballet, Oxxio, to name a few.

Thanks to your experience with Magento you know how to turn a website with products into a whirling web shop. In close collaboration with front-end developers, designers and UX people you build the most beautiful digital solutions for our customers. You are also the evangelist of the platform.

So you are wondering what your day will be like?

You will continue to work on delivery for one of our client who is a large bicycle manufacturer. The webshop is like a house, but the product range does not charge as quickly as you would like on mobile. You dive into the code and carry out a number of optimisations. Quickly run a test and bingo! That feels a lot smoother.

In the afternoon you work on a technical puzzle. For a new B2B ordering platform, content from 2 different CMSs has to be brought together in the new platform. With a team of architects and developers you will work out a strong plan for this. You end the day with the elimination of bugs on projects that have recently gone live. Empty list? You can go home satisfied.

What are we looking for?

  • You have 3 years of work experience, preferably also at a desk;
  • You have completed at least 3 Magento projects of considerable size;
  • You have demonstrable experience with Symfony and Object Oriented Programming;
  • You have a focus on quality assurance – nothing is delivered without extensive testing;
  • You work effortlessly with other developers, designers and UX people;
  • You find problems especially nice when they are nice and complex;
  • CMS experience with Drupal is a plus.

What can we offer you?

We want you to be able to do your work as well as possible. And there is a lot involved. Think of:

  • An open culture;
  • Growth opportunities;
  • Training opportunities;
  • A laptop;
  • A phone;
  • An NS Business Card or a car;
  • Tasty and healthy food;
  • A bootcamp that costs nothing. Except for sweaty drops;
  • Nice drinks;
  • An annual legendary getaway;
  • An excellent competitive salary dependent on experience
  • The chance to do what you are good at and want to be good at.
